1947-2024 Robert Andrew Morrisett, 76, of North Zulch, Texas passed away on Jan. 23, 2024 at his home in North Zulch, Texas. Robert was born to Andy and Sarah (Helms) Morrisett on April 22, 1947 in Bakersfield, California.

He was well known in the North Zulch Community and spent many years devoting his time at Willowhole Cemetery. He not only kept Willowhole beautiful, but his own yard stayed immaculate. If Robert was not outside, you could find him at the American Legion calling out numbers for Bingo. Robert honorably retired from the United States Army and later in his life, the United States Postal Service.

Robert was preceded in death by both of his parents; first wife, Jeannette Morrisett; and brother, Mickey Sickel. He is survived by his wife, Sharon “Sue” Morrisett of North Zulch, Texas; children, Sandy Gill of North Zulch, Texas, Gail Morrisett of Houston, Texas, Debbie Halverson of Freeport, Texas, Tammy Huffman of North Zulch, Texas, Renae Cotton (Jason) of Normangee, Texas, and Bill Biddle (Michelle) of Normangee, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and extended family.

A funeral service honoring Robert was held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Olan Weaver officiated the service. Interment followed in Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch, Texas. Pallbearers were Francisco Medina, Alex Huffman, Eli Huffman, Randy Coleman, Tommy Coleman, Hayden Biddle.
