Michael William Alders, age 59, of Conroe, Texas passed away at home on Friday, January 7, 2023. He was born on October 20, 1963, in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Douglas Wayne Cain, 74, of Madisonville, Texas, passed away at his home of natural causes. He was preceded in death by his father, JT Cain and mother, Lucille Parker Palmer. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Pete Parker and aunt, Phyllis Parker with whom he lived with from a very early age, farming cotton, peanuts, corn and raising cows while on the farm with them.

Patrick Henry Ross passed away on December 19,2022 at the age of 73. Patrick was born on December 9, 1949 in Houston, TX to JB Ross and Nancy Jane (Foster) Ross. He graduated from Milby High School in 1968. He attended Sam Houston State University where he received a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s Degree. Patrick served in the Army Reserve Military Police from 1972 until 1978.

Robin Renee Swann, 61, of Madisonville, Texas passed away on December 13, 2022 in Bryan, Texas. She was born on May 14, 1961 to Ronald Swann and Linda (Arnold) Swann in Houston, Texas. Robin loved her grandkids, telling short stories, drawing and ancestry.

Memorial services honoring the life of James C. Nash, II, 81 years of Leona, Texas, were held 2 P.M., Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Joel Douget officiated the service, assisted by John Spencer and Troy Morris.

Our Beloved Husband and dad, Maurice Lee Belizare (67), was peacefully called home to glory on December 15, 2021, with his wife, Hope by his side. Maurice was born March 10, 1954, in Houston, Tx. He was adopted and raised in a loving Christian home by Johnny and Lillian Wilson in Bedia, Tx. He attended Marian Anderson School in Madisonville, Tx.

Carole Bennett Westmoreland Martin was born to Percy and Elsie Westmoreland in Galveston, on Christmas Eve 1945. She grew up in Normangee and graduated high school in 1963. After high school, she went to Sam Houston State University and majored in education. She met the love of her life in 1965 and they married in 1967. She taught school in Houston while Ken finished pharmacy school and then they moved to Gainesville, Texas. Ken was drafted for service in the Vietnam War and Carole, pregnant at the time, moved back to Normangee. When Ken finished his Army service, they moved into the house where she lived for the rest of her life. She began teaching at Normangee in 1980, where she taught for thirty-five years.

Alice Ann “Sue” Dewberry was born in Normangee, Texas on September 8, 1956 to Sonny Dixon and Inez Coleman. She was raised in Normangee, Texas and finished school in Normangee and later married Gene Clay and moved to Dallas, Texas.
