1935-2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Faye (Goines) McVey, a loving wife, a beloved mother, grandmother, friend and hardworking nurse on Oct. 27, 2023. She was 88 years old.

Billie Janet Radford (formally Billie Kizzia and Billie Keyes) outlived three husbands, and at 91 years of age figured it was time to leave the rest of the family behind to fend for themselves. But actually, the Lord, determining that it was time, called her on Sept. 24, 2023, to her permanent home in Heaven.

Jerry Loyd Bland, 86 years, 5 months, 5 days; from Bedias, TX, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023 at his home with his family by his side. The Masonic funeral were conducted at graveside at 2 p.m Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023 at Bedias Baptist Cemetery in Bedias, TX.

Herbert Lynn “Herbie” Hutchins, 68 years and 27 days of Madisonville, passed away on Friday; Oct. 20, 2023, in Houston. Herbert’s life will be celebrated 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville with the burial to follow at Falba Cemetery in Huntsville. Visitation is scheduled to begin 2 p.m. prior to the service. Herbert’s nephew, Weston Savell, will officiate.

Jerry Floyd Marhofer was born in 1939 in Houston, Texas during World War II. As a young boy, he would go to Kansas to spend summers with his grandparents.

Jimmy Dillon Anderson, 85, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Oct. 17, 2023 in Madisonville, Texas after a brief battle with cancer. Jimmy was born on Feb. 12, 1938 in Sealy, Texas to Virginia and Jimmy Earl Anderson.

Enrique Fernando Enriquez, 41 years of Madisonville, passed away Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, in Madisonville. The funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m.

Louis Matthew “Matt” Miller, 42 years and 4 months from Montgomery, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023 in Houston. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m.
