The Madisonville Mustangs’ soccer season ended Friday, March 21, with a 3-2 loss to Center in the UIL Texas Boys Soccer State Championships at Hudson High School. Madisonville took a 1-0 lead into halftime after Jesus Alvarez found the net in the first half.

The Madisonville Lady Mustangs soccer team finished district play with an 11-1 record, earning co-champion status with Palestine. The Lady Mustangs beat the Diboll Lumberjacks 5-0 in their Tuesday, March 11 match in Diboll, pushing their overall record to 22-2.

The Madisonville Varsity Mustangs baseball team fell to Gatesville Hornets Varsity 8-3 on Thursday, March 13, before splitting their weekend contests with a 5-0 victory over Anderson-Shiro on Friday, March 14, and a narrow 7-6 loss to Franklin on Saturday, March 15.

The Madisonville Varsity Lady Mustangs fell to Rusk 7-2 on Friday, March 14. Rusk was first to get on the board in the second inning when an error scored one run.

The Madisonville High School Lady Mustang volleyball program announced its summer camp schedule for 2025. The Lady Mustang Camp for incoming second through eighth-grade students will take place May 7-9 at Madisonville High School.

The Madisonville Varsity Lady Mustangs softball team extended their winning streak with back-to-back victories, defeating Trinity 11-4 on Friday, March 7 before edging Bellville 8-6 on Monday, March 10. The consecutive wins improve the Lady Mustangs' overall record to 9-4 for the season.

The Madisonville High School soccer teams continued their winning ways last week with decisive victories over district opponents Hudson and Westwood. The Lady Mustangs extended their season record to 21-2 after back-to-back dominant performances.
