Madisonville High School's track and field teams had an impressive showing at the 17/18-4A Area Meet held at Spring Hill High School on Thursday, April 11..

On Monday, May 6, at 11 a.m., Madisonville High School will host a signing event in the Mustang Gym for seven student-athletes committing to various colleges to further their academic and athletic careers.

Students from Madisonville Intermediate School challenge themselves on a rock-climbing wall in front of the school, Tuesday, April 2. The activity was a reward for the 341 students who successfully met their Accelerated Reading goals for the third nine-week period.

The Madisonville Lady Mustangs fell to the Hudon Lady Hornets on Friday, March 22, 11-6. The Lady Hornets jumped into the lead in the top of the first inning after KK Nelson singled, scoring one run; an error scored three runs; Balister McCain singled, scoring one run; and Addy Hebert homered to right field, scoring three runs.

“Ever since I was a kid, I’ve wanted to be a college athlete, and I am so thankful. I get to pursue my dreams. I want to thank my family, coaches, teammates, and, most importantly, God. No. 5 signing out,” said Ke’Myreul Wheaton, who has committed to Blinn College.

The Madisonville Mustangs took on the Hudson Hornets on Friday, March 22, with a 3-2 walk-off victory, as the game was tied at two in the bottom of the eighteen when Cameron Thrower singled, scoring one run.

With an overall score of eight wins and six losses during District play, the Madisonville Mustangs varsity soccer team became third in the district. They beat Crockett 6-0 in last Friday’s bout on their home turf.
