Texas A&M University- Kingsville has released the names of the students who made the President’s List, Dean’s List and Honor Roll for the spring 2024 semester. The President’s List requires a grade point average of 4.00 on all work attempted for a particular semester, with a minimum of 15 semester undergraduate hours completed, exclusive of credit only (CR) courses.

Texas flips the script to reduce fraud and improve customer service

AUSTIN — Texans will soon experience a more streamlined process for receiving metal license plates when they purchase a car from a dealer thanks to a new state law. Under House Bill 718, passed by the 88th Legislature in 2023, starting July 1, 2025, motor vehicle dealers will begin issuing metal license plates directly to buyers of new and used vehicles.

Lehman Sworn In as Deputy, Begins New Chapter at Sheriff’s Office

After more than six years of dedicated service, Deputy Lehman has officially joined the ranks of certified peace officers with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. He began his career as a jailer and rose through the ranks to Jail Sergeant before being selected by Chief Deputy Curtis Klingle, with approval from Sheriff Bobby Adams, to attend the TEEX Central Texas Police Academy.
