The Madison County Commissioners Court postponed action Tuesday, March 25, on a proposed salary increase for sheriff’s office employees while raising concerns about the longterm budget impact. Sheriff Bobby Adams requested a $11,000 across-theboard increase for deputies and a $3,000 increase for all other staff members, citing competition with the Madisonville Police Department.
