The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance locating three wanted individuals for unrelated offenses. One of those individuals is Ashleigh Amari Dillon, who was last seen in Bryan.

Wesley Holdridge, age 30, pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony, on Monday, June 24. The investigation started on March 5, 2021, when the Madison County Sheriff’s Office received a report of child sexual abuse; after an investigation by Investigator Chelsea Stanford, it was found that around May 1, 2020, Holdridge sexually assaulted a teenage female under the age of 17 by making her perform oral sex on him.

COLLEGE STATION — Granite Media Partners Inc.’s publications, which includes the Navasota Examiner and Madisonville Meteor Newspapers, dominated the 2023 Texas Better Newspaper Contest.

The Madisonville Meteor earned third place in editorial writing with the article written by editor Richard Sirman, “Cattle Mutilations Leave Investigators Stumped in Madison County” published in the April 20, 2023 edition.

The Navasota Examiner placed first in headline writing, third in the new public notice category and fourth in feature writing.
