Madisonville Intermediate School third graders join county officers and deputies Jan. 8 for a Local Law Enforcement Appreciation Day lunch. Students made signs thanking members of the Madison County Sheriff's Office, Madisonville Police Department, Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warden and Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District Police Department for their service.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office recently received a donation of stuffed animals from Heart and Hands Family Care Center. Deputies will carry the comfort items in their vehicles and give them to children during calls.

The following persons were arrested or booked into the Madison County jail on Sunday, January 4. through Sunday, January 11.
