The total damage assessment in the City of Madisonville following last month’s tornado was reported as 106 impacted properties, including residential and commercial. Five of those 106 were completely destroyed while 15 were majorly damaged with the rest reported as minor impacts.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office is searching for 39-yearold Philip Cameron Carter, who has five active felony warrants from July, including attempted murder, and is considered to be armed and dangerous. Carter cut off his ankle monitor and has been off officials’ radar since Thursday, according to MCSO Chief Investigator Chelsea Stanford.
