Students from across Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District campuses and their families gathered for the homecoming pep rally and carnival on Wednesday, September 24. Fans of the Mustangs enjoyed throwing water balloons at teachers and staff, as well as many other activities during the carnival.
The Mighty Mustang Band performed “Echoes of Darkness” during a marching competition Saturday, Sept. 27 at Mustang Stadium. The band took first place in their class and won awards for color guard, music performance, visual performance, and overall effect.

Aviation enthusiasts and classic car owners display their vehicles at the Fly-In & Classic Car Show at Madisonville Municipal Airport on Saturday, Sept. 27. The event, sponsored by the City of Madisonville and Lazy 8 Flight School, drew crowds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to view vintage aircraft and automobiles.

The Madisonville football team (3-2) ended their non-district slate with a thrilling 21-14 win over the Center Roughriders (2-3) on Homecoming at Mustang Stadium Friday. In the final minute of the game, senior Tristan Whaley took a screen pass from quarterback Cade Campbell up the sideline for 62 yards and a game-winning score.
