Larry Bollin received a second life sentence Monday, July 28, for shooting a Department of Public Safety trooper in the eye during his 2021 escape from a deadly workplace shooting in Bryan. The 31-year-old Iola man pleaded guilty Friday, July 25, to attempted capital murder of a police officer in Grimes County’s 12th District Court.
