Members of the Madison County Juneteenth Organization welcome guests to their Christmas Ball, on Saturday, Dec.14 at the Madison County Juneteenth Center. The formal gala which organizers hope will become an annual tradition, kicked off the organization’s 40th anniversary.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign, a holiday tradition since 1891, is once again ringing in the season of giving to help those in need. The campaign, the biggest of the year, raises fund to provide food, shelter and social services, ensuring support for families long after the holidays.
