Midway Fire Department Secures New Rescue Vehicle

Body
The Midway Volunteer Fire Department is set to boost its emergency response capabilities with a new Polaris utility terrain vehicle, thanks in part to a $20,000 grant from the Texas A&M Forest Service. The department will use the grant to help purchase a Polaris 1500, which will be outfitted with a 104-gallon water tank, foam capabilities for brush fire suppression, and a rescue basket for hard-toreach areas.
