The City of Madisonville is seeking volunteers to join the Madisonville Eyes and Ears Program (MEEP). The MEEP program primarily performs duties in the field identifying code violations for the code inspector to perform further investigation.

The Texas Court structure consists of three levels: trial, appellate and supreme. In the December 2022 publication, The Texas Court System, available in the Dee J. Kelly Law Library at Texas A&M University School of Law reported that at the trial court level, there are more than 450 district courts, over 500 county courts, and 800-plus Justice of the Peace courts. Municipal courts, perhaps the closest to the people, number approximately 950 with 1,286 judges.

The following persons were arrested or booked into the Madison County jail on Sunday, October 29, through Sunday, November 5. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
