Madison County deputies wore HazMat suits July 20 to carry 14 dogs out of the North Zulch residence, according to the Sheriff's Office. Jayne Elizabeth Taylor was arrested on a felony charge of cruelty to a non-livestock animal.

Lady Bulldogs exit playoffs

Throughout the 2023 Volleyball Season, the North Zulch Lady Bulldogs have had tough breaks resulting in their 15-18 overall score, but during the district season, the Lady Bulldogs pulled together to become second in the district with 6-2.

Sunday, Nov. 5, local folks in Madison County gathered to place US Flags on Veteran tombstones at the Madisonville City Cemetery and the West End Cemetery. Leftovers flags were taken to other cemeteries in the area. Veterans Day is Saturday, Nov. 11.
