The Madison County Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its Christmas Parade, bringing joy, festivities and an unforgettable experience to the community.

Madison County Retired School Personnel heard issues that are affecting agriculture in and around Madison County during their monthly meeting.

As basketball season looms in North Zulch, so does the annual homecoming parade, which will happen Saturday, Nov. 18, at 10:30 a.m.

Throughout the 2023 Volleyball Season, the North Zulch Lady Bulldogs have had tough breaks resulting in their 15-18 overall score, but during the district season, the Lady Bulldogs pulled together to become second in the district with 6-2.

Sunday, Nov. 5, local folks in Madison County gathered to place US Flags on Veteran tombstones at the Madisonville City Cemetery and the West End Cemetery. Leftovers flags were taken to other cemeteries in the area. Veterans Day is Saturday, Nov. 11.

In recognition of Municipal Court Week Nov. 6-10, the Madisonville Meteor is highlighting the important service provided by the Madisonville Municipal Court — its role in the criminal justice system as a whole and in keeping the Madisonville community safe.
