A handheld grinder sparked a fire that destroyed approximately 500 round bales of hay in a barn on Farm to Market 1372, bringing six volunteer fire departments to the scene. The fire at Red King Ranch in the 15700 block of FM 1372 was reported at approximately 5 p.m.
