Mustangs to Honor Seniors, Conclude District

The Madisonville football team will conclude their district season Friday against Giddings and honor 18 senior players prior to their final game at Mustang Stadium. The Mustangs will then prepare for the Bi-District round of the State Playoffs and their fourth straight postseason appearance.

Madisonville Band Places 19th at UIL Area Contest

The Madisonville High School Marching Band’s quest for a historic finals berth fell short Saturday at the UIL 4A Area D competition, finishing 19th among 31 competing schools. The Mustang Band received varied scores from the five judges: 11th from Music judge C.
