Madisonville Girl Scout Troop no. 9504 donated 18 duffle bags stuffed with dental hygiene items, combs/brushes, soap, deodorant, etc., activity books, journals, crayons, markers, blanket and stuffed animals to the Madison County CPS Rainbow Room.

Over the past three days, members of the North Zulch FFA uncovered the possibilities by attending the Region IV Leadership Conference in Galveston, Texas. 7 STAR Events and 2 Spotlights advanced to state.

The Lady Mustangs (23-5) have continued to be second in the district after this loss against Jacksonville two weeks ago, but they have kept it strong, beating Rusk and Palestine. On Tuesday, Jan. 23, they faced off against the Rusk Eagles, dominating the score by 25 points, 60-35.

The Lady Bulldogs were finally toppled from their top position when they lost against Round Top Carmine on Friday, Jan 26. Recently, the team faced off against the McDade Bulldogs on Tuesday, Jan.
