Recently, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on House Bill 900, a Texas law requiring booksellers to categorize the explicitness and relevance of sexual content in materials sold to schools; the court temporarily halted the enforcement of the bill on Wednesday, Jan. 17, leaving Madisonville Consolidated School District and many other districts in the state confused while they navigate uncharted waters.
