Special to the Meteor We had a brief but productive interview with Grimes County DA Investigator, John Wren, a few weeks ago regarding the Anthony Williams case. A couple of weeks ago my wife, Sandra Woodruff, was receiving persistent phone calls from one of those “you have won a lottery” scammers, and they would not let her go or stop the phone calls.

Madisonville Mustangs trampled over the Caldwell Hornets

In an impressive showing, the Madisonville Mustangs (3-1) scored 63-8 in a victory over the Caldwell Hornets (0-4) on Friday, September 16, at Hornet Stadium. With only 36 plays under their belt, the Mustangs ranged 477 yards, while the Mustang’s defense kept the Hornets at bay with 157 yards on their 50 plays.

Madisonville High School Appoints 2022 Homecoming Court

Ten seniors and eight underclassmen were appointed to the Madisonville High School 2022 Homecoming Court and will be introduced during the Homecoming Carnival and Pep Rally on Wednesday, September 21st. Appointed to the court are Freshman Princess Dara Juarez and Freshman Prince Kyrus Ford, Sophomore Princess Marci Arce, and Sophomore Prince Erick Payan, and Junior Princess Sandra Hinojosa, and Junior Prince Leonel Zavala.
