Special to the Meteor Congratulations to our own Mayah Echin and Galilea Camarenta Lobato, who are two of the 62,000 students across the country to earn academic honors from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs. These National Recognition Programs grant under-represented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, according to a program statement.

The game would have kept Madisonville undefeated, led the Navasota’s Rattlers to be 2-0, and leaving the mustangs with a 1-1 for the season.

The pep rally started at 3:00 p.m, with cheerleaders rallying the football boys to come out spectacularly, cheering them on while the band blasted their incredible music to the crowd, all the while dancers kept everyone in high spirits.
