Last Thursday the Lady Mustangs gathered 13 runs on 13 hits, but it was a huge 12 run inning by Connally that gave them the edge over Madisonville in the highly contested 16- 13 contest. Grace Coleman stepped up going 3-for-4 in the game with a triple and a pair of singles to lead in the batter’s box for the Lady Mustangs.

A double and a single were the only hits the North Zulch Bulldogs baseball team could muster last Thursday to open up the month of April on a down note as the Bulldogs fell to the Slocum Mustangs 21-4.

Sign-up for Madisonville Youth Football and Cheer will take place at the Madisonville Walmart Saturday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fees are $100 for football and $125 for cheer.
