North Zulch FFA representatives accept a $5,000 check from Tractor Supply Co. on Tuesday, Aug. 19. The grant will fund construction of a greenhouse in November for the school’s horticulture class and plant science program. Students plan to host a spring plant sale. 

Hundreds of visitors browse firearms, hunting gear, and outdoor equipment during the Annual Gun and Hunting Show at the Truman Kimbro Center on Sunday, Aug. 17. The Madisonville Noon Lions Club sponsored the two-day event, which featured vendors from across Texas selling rifles, handguns, knives, and leather goods.
