The Madison County District Attorney’s Office is bringing holiday cheer to children affected by crime through its second annual Angel Tree Project, offering community members a chance to make a difference in young lives this Christmas season.

The aroma of traditional holiday dishes will soon fill the North Zulch Independent School District cafeteria as the school prepares for its annual Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, Nov. 20.

The Brazos Valley Food Bank received food donations from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the benefit of hundreds of local families. The donation included pantry staples such as dried pasta, dried beans, instant mashed potatoes, pancake mix, canned vegetables, flour, peanut butter, rice and dish soap.

The Madison County Soccer Club announces two upcoming events - a fall fundraising kickball tournament and its end-of-season closing ceremonies. The kickball tournament begins at 9 a.m.
