Entergy offers bill credits for customers

As anyone who has gone to a grocery store or gas pump lately knows prices are going up. The same is true with the costs related to generating and delivering electricity, according to Eliecer Viamontes President and CEO Entergy Texas, Inc. “Entergy Texas is providing more tools and resources customers need to manage rising power bills, Viamontes said. “Over half of the electricity Entergy Texas generates for its customers comes from power plants that run on natural gas. Unfortunately, the cost to buy that natural gas has more than doubled over the last year.”

The Madisonville Mustang Marching Band

At the Midway Marching Preview at Midway ISD Panther Stadium in Waco, Texas, on Saturday, October 1, The Mighty Mustang band performed very well, according to Christy Whitten, the English Department Chair of Madisonville High School. At the event, the Mustang Band placed 5th in their class but 15th overall; according to Whitten, “The band continues to improve at every competition and looks forward to competing at AT&T Stadium this week..
