These National Recognition Programs grant under-represented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, according to a program statement.

The pep rally started at 3:00 p.m, with cheerleaders rallying the football boys to come out spectacularly, cheering them on while the band blasted their incredible music to the crowd, all the while dancers kept everyone in high spirits.

A tradition that has roots in the community since 2010 is finally back and running in the restaurant itself instead of in the cafeteria at the High School where it has been held since Covid started.
