Faith Farris is the National High School Rodeo Association World Champion in Girls’ Cutting after winning both go rounds and the average at the Nationals event in Lincoln, Neb., which lasted July 18 through Saturday. Farris and her horse, Big Shoes to Phil, or simply Phil, became the Texas State Champion in the same category to qualify for Nationals back in June. Sue is a precious girl around 18 months old and about 25 pounds. She is believed to be a Pug mix. She would love a patient, loving home and is still figuring out how to walk on a leash. Sue is very submissive and we feel she would thrive with positive reinforcement. She is up to date on all shots and preventative, heartworm negative, spayed, and ready for her forever home. Madisonville SPED students (clockwise) Curtis Ledbetter, Christian Wilson, Hanna Shadle and Shawndrick Ross participated in Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley's Summer Earn and Learn (SEAL) Program, which is aimed at Youth Vocational Rehabilitation Participants and was created as part of the organization's commitment to build a support system for students with disabilities.
