1947-2024 Robert Andrew Morrisett, 76, of North Zulch, Texas passed away on January 23, 2024 at his home in North Zulch, Texas. Robert was born to Andy and Sarah (Helms) Morrisett on April 22, 1947 in Bakersfield, California.

1955 – 2024 Jerry Earl Goodson was born July 17, 1955 in Huntsville, Texas to James H. and Katherine (Bland) Goodson.

1936 – 2024 Doris Marie (Goodrum) Hines was born in Madisonville, Texas on Dec. 13, 1936 to Selven and Josie (Nichols) Goodrum. She passed away on Jan. 15, 2024 in Normangee, Texas. She was a homemaker for many years, then later worked and retired from Texas A&M printing department. Doris, also known as “Granny,” was very sweet and loving. She spoiled her grandkids and great-grandkids endlessly and always kept Schwans ice cream in the cooler for them. Granny made every member of the family a baby blanket or afghan, and she was very talented at crocheting.

1961-2024 Mary Lee Evans, age 62, of Normangee, Texas fell asleep in the arms of Jesus Jan. 8, 2024 in Bryan, Texas. She was born to B.J.

1958 — 2024 Benito Recendiz “Chaparro” Gonzalez, 65 years of Bedias, TX, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 in Bryan, TX. The funeral mass is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

1949-2023 Randolph “Randy” Clifford; 74 years, 4 months, 18 days, from Madisonville, TX, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in Conroe, TX. Randy’s life will be celebrated at 3 p.m.

1942-2024 Weldon Larry Wakefield, (81), of Madisonville, TX passed away peacefully on Jan. 6, 2024. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and cherished time with his extended family during quail dinners, sandwich suppers and shrimp boils.
