On Saturday, Feb. 17, Keep Madison County Beautiful, the local non-profit that works to maintain a beautiful and healthy environment in the county, gathered volunteers to clean a street during frigid temperatures.

WOMEN’S RETREAT
Madisonville FFA members were among those that won at the 47th Annual Land Homesite Rangeland Content hosted by Bedias Creek Soil & Water Conservation District no. 428 Wednesday, Feb. 14.
Corbin Fraley was awarded the 2024 Rangeland Scholarship and first place Rangeland; James Bevers won third place Homesite; and Madisonville FFA won second place Team Rangeland.
Preslie and Paislee Munsey competed in San Angelo during the week of Wednesday, Feb. 7.
Preslie Munsey got Reserve Champion.
Paislee Munsey got fourth place.
Madisonville 4-H hosted a benefit dance on Saturday, Feb. 10. This western-themed event brought together students 18 and younger from Madisonville CISD, North Zulch ISD and Normangee ISD.
