The Madison County 4-H Club has recently announced a new photography course which is open to members in grades three through 12. This new program welcomes 4-H members who have traditional cameras as well as phone cameras but dates for the class are still being determined.

The directors of the Bedias Creek Soil and Water Conservation District met Monday, May 2, at Living Truth Church for their monthly meeting. They addressed flood structure inspections and growing concerns about screwworms approaching Texas.

Madison County commissioners approved the purchase of two new vehicles for the district attorney’s office and authorized two unpaid interns during their regular meeting Tuesday morning. The court approved the district attorney’s office to trade in a 2019 Ford F-150 for a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 crew cab four-wheel drive from Caldwell Country Chevrolet.
