HLEA brings a little Christmas spirit to Madisonville Assisted Living Center

Body
Hilltop Lakes Equestrian Association (HLEA) and a little miniature pony named Spirit visited the Madisonville Assisted Living Center to bring Christmas cheer and joy to the long-term care residents and staff. Spirit arrived in style via the Spirit Express and made her debut via a red carpet entrance. She was adorned with Christmas attire, jingle bells and even red glitter hooves. The visit sparked excitement, conversation, ignited grins from ear to ear, and gave the seniors a few minutes to be present while petting the pony, feeding pony hay, taking photos, and chatting with the handlers. Spirit certainly brightened the day and brought Christmas time joy to all involved.
