Leslie Lazenby moves on from Madison County

Madison County Extension Program Assistant Leslie Lazenby has served the area’s youth for over 12 years in the position and has decided to step down with an upcoming marriage and move to Louisiana on the immediate horizon. Lazenby has held the position since 2008 with the exception of one year and has left a lasting legacy that will remain prominent for years to come.

NZ FCCLA attends state meeting

North Zulch Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) advanced two Students Taking Action with Recognition (STAR) teams the state meeting in Dallas April 8-10. The two teams included their Interpersonal Communications team (consisting of Summer Benham, Jannat Sunny and Bryce Lide), who placed third, as well as their Promote and Publicize FCCLA team (consisting of Luis Garcia, Fasial Sattar and Ali Sunny).

With options so scarce for streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu, it is important for places like our Library to have entertainment for the needs of the area.
