The City of Madisonville’s April Yard of the Month, located at 700 E. Viser, was selected for its consistently well-maintained lawn. The homeowners were recognized for their commitment to property upkeep, even during rainy weather.

Madisonville High School Life Skills students display posters created for Autism Awareness Week, held April 22-26, with the theme “LOVE from a Different Angle.” During the awareness campaign, the students presented their messages at various locations, including the Madisonville CISD school board and the Madison County Commissioners Court.
North Zulch FFA members Katie Watson, Jade Sanders, and Zailey Crocker display their awards from the Area 9 Convention on Tuesday, May 13. Watson placed second in Agribusiness Public Speaking, Sanders earned first place in Area 9 Wool Individual, and Crocker took third place in Junior Prepared Public Speaking.
Festival attendees enjoyed crawfish at the Mudbug & Music Festival Saturday, May 10, at Lake Madison Park in Madisonville. The City of Madisonville hosted festival-goers peeled and ate the crawdads while enjoying live music and other activities throughout the day.
