The Madison County Office of Emergency Management has released information about extended flood warnings issued by the National Weather Service for several rivers across Texas, including the Navasota River near Normangee, which affects Madison, Brazos, and Grimes counties.

Carter Found Guilty

A Madison County jury found Philip Carter guilty Thursday, May 1, after a trial that began April 3 at the Madison County Courthouse. The jury delivered its verdict in the 278th District Court with Judge Tracy Sorenson presiding.
